Our next play reading event
Martin Curd and Russell Hood will be organising the next event on Wednesday 21st February 2018 at El Paraiso Golf Club at 7.30 pm for a 8 pm start. They have chosen four short plays to read along with a pre-rehearsed radio play that we can listen to.As always you can come along and read a part or simply sit, listen and enjoy. There is a small charge for this event at 4€ for members and 5€ for non-members. Simply turn up and pay on the night.

The Annual General Meeting: we need a treasurer!
Our AGM will be held on Wednesday 7th March 2018. Papers will be circulated shortly. Please note: we do not have a venue yet for this event but we will let you know as soon as possible.

We are looking for a new treasurer as Eileen Audas is resigning from the committee after ten years service. The role is not onerous and full support will be given. It involves keeping the accounts, occasional handling of cash and banking, providing floats for events and producing an annual report for the AGM. If you are interested, please contact us immediately by replying to this email. Thank you.

Play readings
Miles Rendle organised a lovely evening at El Candil for the January play reading. A big thank you to him. We will be continuing our regular play reading evenings each month, except in the months when we have a major production. Thank you to everyone who regularly attends these evenings, they are always well supported and lots of fun.We have two new dates for future readings on 26th April and 4th July. More details will follow nearer the time.

Venue update
We are extremely grateful to Paul and the team at El Paraiso Golf Club for providing us with a venue for our events this year during the closure of the Atalaya Park Hotel for their renovations. In addition, El Candil Bar is closing for almost two months and we will miss Alfonso and his team during this time as would normally rehearse in his private room. Thankfully, we have been able to use Atalaya Golf club for some rehearsals. We are so fortunate to have such great support.

Ticket sales
It is possible to buy your tickets for our major productions online via our website. The number of people buying online is increasing, as it is a simple and straightforward process. We will continue to sell tickets via cast members and via our regular outlets but we will have limited numbers for the March production of 100 per night. Consequently, we are asking our supporters to ensure that they get their tickets booked in advance for March.

The Lark in the Park
Our annual charity fundraising event will be held on Sunday 3rd June 2018 in the park in Benahavis. We are currently booking the acts, finding the play and nominating a charity. Please save the date!
